I would post the repertoire from the Wind Symphony concert, but even I'M not really interested in knowing. I only joined WS because we're doing another recording. Two years or so ago, we made a recording of Holsinger pieces:

I like that sort of thing, the recording process, I mean. I'm not really too psyched about band music, but you know. 

That'll happen in November. More details on the pieces we'll be recording as I get them...

I'm posting this the week after the concert because I didn't think I'd keep doing this anymore, but. Here it is again.

I think of the first concert of the season the same way many people think about how you spend your New Years. It'll essentially determine how the rest of the season will turn out. 

My prediction after this week: "Is she in 2, or 3? 4?"


I have this week off, aside from my University ensembles and lessons. I think I'll be putting on my Senior Recital this semester. Most grad program applications are due by December 1st. This means I'll have to put the recital on probably the first week of November if I'm gonna include a CD in my applications. This means I should really be practicing...
